Angelina Jolie reflects on her incredible 2014.
Move aside Brad Pitt -- Angelina Jolie will always be a mother first.
Angelina covers People magazine's "The Best & Worst of 2014" issue, in which the multi-talented actress dishes on the biggest moments of her incredible year.
Although Angelina's landmark year includes her surprise wedding to Brad Pitt, executive-producing and starring in Disney's huge hit Maleficent and directing the Louis Zamperini biopic Unbroken, first and foremost on her mind is her eldest son Maddox, who turned 13 in August.
"My son [Maddox] became a teenager," she tells the magazine. "That was a marker in my year."

"More than anything, like any mom, I'm just happy the kids are healthy," she adds. "I married their dad. My health is good."
Angelina is of course referring to her August wedding to Brad after being together for more than 10 years, dishing that their six kids -- Maddox, Shiloh, Pax, Zahara and twins Knox and Vivienne -- acted as wedding planners for the big day.
"They did a really good job!" she says about the ceremony, which took place at their estate in France. "The eight of us celebrated, and Brad and I committed our lives to the children."
Angelina also surprisingly opens up to the magazine about the possibility of entering politics in the future, given that she's already a celebrated humanitarian and a United Nations special envoy for refugees.
"I do want to make change, so I'm open to whatever role that may take," she says.
One thing we do know, however, is that the 39-year-old star doesn't plan on being an actress for too much longer.
In November, she told DuJour magazine that she's "absolutely" planning to retire from acting.
"I've never been comfortable as an actor; I've never loved being in front of the camera," she revealed.
