New dad Jimmy Fallon has a lot to celebrate.
The Tonight Show host, 40, and his wife, 47-year-old producer Nancy Juvonen, welcomed their second daughter – Frances Cole Fallon – early Dec. 3 via surrogate.
After taking the rest of the week off, Jimmy returned to NBC’s late-night show on Monday to update the audience on his family’s latest addition and showed off the first photos of his daughter on his iPhone like a proud papa.
Two of the photos showed Frances sleeping, while another showed the cute newborn being cradled. A fourth image showed Jimmy and Nancy in a candid family selfie.

Jimmy didn’t shy away from the baby news, poking fun at his exhaustion levels during his monologue at the top of the show. “Welcome to the Tonight Show, I’m your host, completely exhausted!” he joked, later deadpanning that the show would be renamed “Early Evenings Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
NEWS: Jimmy Fallon Talks Birth of Winnie
Frances joins big sister Winnie Rose, who is 1 year old.
Jimmy and Nancy, who married in 2007, kept Frances’ birth private – just as they did with Winnie, who was also born via surrogate.
Last August, Jimmy shared his family’s struggles with conceiving, telling Today, “My wife and I had been trying for a while to have a baby. We tried a bunch of things. So we had a surrogate."
It's been a big year for Jimmy. Not only was he named Entertainer of the Year by Entertainment Weekly, but his "Ew!" song made the Billboard Hot 100 charts!
