When the news of her passing initially broke, her co-star Kunal Nayyar, who plays Howard's best friend Raj Koothrappali, tweeted out a message for her.
Now Kunal is opening up to Ellen DeGeneres about what people may not have known about the woman behind the voice.
The 33-year-old actor describes Susi as a woman who never drove in Los Angeles, "For 30 years she didn't drive a car. So she would take a bus to work. There's a bus stop outside of Warner Brothers and she would sit there and I would pick her up sometimes- we used to live close to each other."
The conversations in those car are what he remembers, "She would always say, 'I don't understand how people recognize me from my voice.'" He continues, "You know she had a lovely smile and whenever you asked her how her day was going she would say, 'There's not a another place I'd rather be than here, so my day is going lovely.' Her spirit will live with us on set forever."
