Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin Split

Looks like Chris Martin might not be Jennifer Lawrence's dream man after all.

Just as the romance between Jennifer, 24, and Chris, 37, appeared to be heating up, People is reporting that the couple has already split.

"Jen is the one who broke it off with Chris," a source says.

Jennifer wasn't exactly in the friendliest mood Friday, when she had a pointed message on her umbrella for paparazzi in Los Angeles.

The surprising couple reportedly first started dating in late June, after the Oscar winner broke up with her X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult. Meanwhile, Chris consciously uncoupled from his wife of 10 years, Gwyneth Paltrow, in March.

Most recently, the Hunger Games star was spotted backstage at the iHeartRadio Music in September supporting Chris's band Coldplay.

Though of course, that wasn't the first time she watched the band perform. She also attended the Coldplay concert at the Ace Hotel Theatre in downtown Los Angeles earlier that month, when Chris reportedly even sang to her.

"Chris gave a good look around the room and then spotted someone up on the balcony," Us Weekly quotes a source. "He pointed and said 'Aha! I see you!' and then smiled and waved. He kept looking up in the direction during the show and smiling, pointing, singing to her."

Jennifer recently told Vanity Fair five things she's looking for in a boyfriend, which includes someone "more boring than passionate."

"Isn't boring so much better than passion?" she said. "[I'm looking for someone who,] you know, isn't afraid to fart in front of me [rather] than to have big, passionate love. I'd rather have just a peaceful time. [Those relationships] are deeper because you can be your true self with somebody, and somebody can be their true self with you."

She also took a perceived dig at Chris's ex Gwyneth, who's known for her stringent diet.

Describing the gluten-free lifestyle, Jennifer said, "[It's] the new cool eating disorder, the 'basically I just don't eat carbs.'"
