Clooney, 53, and Alamuddin, 36, chose to tie the knot at the Aman Canal Grande in a private ceremony, but if you're looking to have a wedding there too, there's just one problem. You can't get there unless you arrive by boat.

Those attending the big event showed up by water taxis, and getting them to the venue created some great photo opportunities. This wedding saw a slew of celebrity guests including Clooney's Ocean's 11 co-star Matt Damon and Vogue's Anna Wintour, U2 musician Bono, supermodel Cindy Crawford (who's husband Rande Gerber acted as Best Man) and The Office star John Krasinski ...just to name a few.

As the sun set over the canal and drew even more of a picturesque scene, Clooney arrived on a water taxi last with his mother and father by his side. It was a beautiful day filled with excited Venetians and photographers capturing the moments before one of the most famous bachelors said his vows.
