When people would comment on her weight gain, she says, "I feel like it's just, if anything it empowered me to rise above and stand up for all the women out there that do have trouble losing the weight. And it just wasn't really my priority to please the public and make them, make them feel like I'm supposed to be looking like I did when I was 25."
The 34-year-old married former NFL football player Eric Johnson over this past fourth of July weekend, and she talks about how he makes her feel.

When Matt Lauer asks if she felt like she was being held to a higher standard because she had been known as a sex symbol, she says, "I don't think that I wasn't still a sex symbol. To my husband I was extremely sexy. I feel like when I started weight watchers for me I feel like every week it was more and more exciting and finally when I reached the goal not too long ago I just, I feel more comfortable in my skin."
Even though she is more comfortable in her skin, the negative weight commentary still affected her. "I'm not saying that they didn't hurt. I'm a woman I have feelings I have hormones, I got emotional about it at times. But if anything I just wanted to be champion for other women and say I can do this."
