The 20-year-old "Baby" singer made a surprise appearance at the show, which features top designers from the fashion world as well as live musical performances. As Bieber was introducing Rita Ora to the stage, a smattering of boos could be heard from the crowd.

Thinking fast on his feet, the pop star began to take off his clothes until he was standing in only his Calvin Klein boxer briefs, which seemed to put the crowd back on his side. "Just stripped on national television," he Instagrammed on Tuesday night. "Hahahaha it wasn't planned lmao."
