"I like the name Karate," he joked. "I think Karate Kimmel has a great ring to it."
This marks the comedian's third child. Kimmel is already dad to daughter Katherine, 22, and son Kevin, 20, with ex-wife Gina Maddy, whom he divorced in 2002.

McNearney -- a co-head writer on Jimmy Kimmel Live! -- and Kimmel have been married since July 2013, and have been dating since 2009.
