A man was reportedly caught attempting to burglarize George Clooney's villa in Lake Como, Italy, but he only got away with a bottle of wine!

According to the Telegraph, a 29-year-old Romanian man set out to rob Clooney's home, but first retrieved some wine "in a small alcove in the garden of the lakeside property." The would-be burglar was spotted by someone on the 53-year-old actor's staff and the police were notified. Upon seeing law enforcement, the man, who was believed to be drunk, allegedly "threatened them with the bottle" before being "overpowered" and arrested. Clooney was not at the estate at the time of the incident.

The newly engaged actor/director has had his Lake Como "Villa Oleandra" since 2002 and has hosted a slew of famous friends (and girlfriends) throughout the years there. It's rumored that he will have his wedding with fiancee Amal Alamuddin at this location.
