Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir announced via Twitter on Tuesday that he and his husband are separating.
It is with great sadness that I announce that my husband and I are no longer together. My heart hurts, and I wish him well.
— Johnny Weir (@JohnnyGWeir) March 19, 2014Weir had been married to lawyer Victor Voronov for two years, and the 29-year-old skater, best known for his flamboyant personality and extravagant wardrobe choices along with his athletic talents, had legally change his name, and his Twitter handle, to Weir-Voronov.
As of today, his handle has been changed back to simply "Johnny Weir."
