Could L'Wren Scott have been saved?
While the world is still reeling from the loss of fashion designer L'Wren Scott, ET spoke to one of her close friends to find out if there may have been any warning signs leading up to her final days.
"I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way," Scott's boyfriend, Mick Jagger, posted on Facebook.
Close friend and Vogue Contributing Editor Andre Leon Talley told us that there was "never any semblance of anything that was dark or disturbing in her personality or her conversation," but he did offer that he thinks "the pressure must have been tremendous for L'Wren to continue to compete."
Despite being millions of dollars in debt, Scott lived a life of luxury on Instagram, posting photos from exotic locations and lavish affairs.
Fox Business Network's Sandra Smith told ET that Scott's financial woes may have been even more severe than initially reported.
"The latest business filings in the UK for her company LS Fashion show that it was running at a deficit of $5.9 million, while she owed creditors over $7.5 million," said Smith.
Scott's body was discovered in her New York apartment on Monday after an apparent suicide. She was 49.
