Laura Linney has given birth to a baby boy!

The 49-year-old Big C star gave birth to her son, Bennett Armistead Schauer, on Wednesday, January 8, her rep confirmed to People magazine.

It is the first child for Linney and her husband, Marc Schauer.

"Mother and baby are happy and healthy," the rep told the magazine.
