Perry Admits to Texting K Stew over R Patz Rumors
Katy Perry got surprisingly personal in a new interview with Elle UK when addressing the rumors that her and Robert Pattinson are more than just friends (the two have been spotted out together on multiple occasions) after his highly reported split with Kristen Stewart in May, and actually admitted to texting Stewart to clear the air.
"I sent her a text message saying: 'I know you've seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I'm not that person. I'm just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of ti*s,'" she told the magazine (via MTV UK).

As for more rumors about her love life, she also revealed that it was her on-again/off-again boyfriend John Mayer who initiated their split in February (the two are now back together).
"He pulled away. That was a big hello for me," she said. "I realized I could lose the person I loved and I had to deal with some things, issues I think a lot of women have. You can be strong in one aspect of your life but submissive in another. ... In relationships, it was hard for me to speak up and set boundaries. I think a lot of that was to do with the fear of loss."
And yet another relationship of hers that the media is fixated on?
Her rumored rocky friendship with her once BFF Rihanna. Though Perry compliments her in the mag, she does hint that a bad "entourage" may be the source of a rough patch between the two.

"I love her [Rihanna] and every time I see her, I'm reminded of the light that she has. There's a lot of dark in this business," she said. "I know a lot of people out there with the most detrimental entourages – they are the root of their demise. It's really unfortunate but you can't save these people. My days of celebrity saving are over."
The September issue of Elle UK hits stores July 31.
