Eyewitness Joel Council, from Safety for Citizens, told ET that Foxx unbuckled the man from the driver's seat and dragged him 30 feet away from the flames. "I'm forever grateful to him, he really helped me out," Jim Walpole, 77, said of the actor. Ryan Gosling is cleaning up the streets! The Place Beyond the Pines star broke up a fight (see it HERE) in New York City back in July 2011, and told MTV of the incident, "It was sad, because it turns out that I said to the guy, 'Why are you doing this?' He said, 'Well, he tried to steal my painting,' I said, 'How do you know?' and he said, 'Well, he comes here every day and looks at my paintings,' which means the guy was a fan, and so he wanted the painting so bad he had to steal it because he couldn't afford it. So he finally steals the painting, and then he's getting his a** kicked by his hero, and then the guy from The Notebook shows up and makes it weirder."

In a statement to ET Monday, Heidi said, "We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water. Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely."
