Elizabeth Banks Meets the Woman She Saved
In 2011, Elizabeth Banks teamed up with Go Red For Women's campaign to raise awareness about heart attack prevention, and it wasn't long before the Hunger Games actress learned her three-minute short, Just a Little Heart Attack, saved a woman's life.
"It's amazing to have helped in any small way," said Banks as she was united with heart attack survivor Christie Thompson. The 51-year-old recognized the symptoms of her very own heart attack (such as nausea, dizziness and shortness of breath) after watching the star's film.
To make the incredible story even better, Thomson was able to attend her daughter's wedding (and even dance at the reception) just three weeks after the terrifying episode.
