Kim has requested to expedite the ongoing case following Kris' formal refusal to speed up the process. Kris wants the 2011 marriage annulled, claiming that it was based on fraud.
In paperwork filed February 4, Kris's lawyer Marshall W. Waller (who is now departing the case after filing separate papers claiming irreconcilable differences with the basketball star) alleged that Kim's rush to bring the case to court has more to do with her impending pregnancy with Kanye West than legitimate pressing matters.

"What is really going on here is that an 'urgency' in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something [Kris] had nothing to do with, is perceived by [Kim] as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial," wrote Waller in the court docs, adding, "Indeed, why would [Kim] plan to get pregnant in the midst of divorce proceedings?"
Kim and Kris formally split in October 2011 citing "irreconcilable differences."
