Kim Kardashian on Divorce, Surrogate Breastfeeding
Kim Kardashian appeared with her sister Kourtney on the Today show on Tuesday and opened up about her pregnancy and continuing efforts to finalize her divorce.
Kim revealed to Today's Savannah Guthrie that her recently revealed pregnancy actually came as a shock to her because she also faced fertility problems like her sister Khloe. "Khloe has been very open about her fertility issues and I think I was always really kind of quiet about mine, and I have similar issues, and so it was a pleasant surprise when so many doctors were telling me one thing and then the opposite happens," she said.

Kim, 32, revealed she's due in July and called finding out about her pregnancy -- which was first announced by her boyfriend Kanye West during a concert appearance on December 30 -- "an exciting moment," adding that "I think it's just such a blessing knowing my circumstances."
At one point during the interview Kim mentioned a conversation she had with Kourtney about how other families with many babies handle childcare. "(On the way over here, Kourtney) said that in the old days, and maybe we should try this -- one sister should babysit all the kids," she said. "So I can go out out or vice-versa and, you know, whichever sister is babysitting should breastfeed all the kids that are there."

To this, Kourtney said she might have been misquoted. "I said, that's what they did back in the day. I didn't say that let's try this," Kourtney explained.
Kim also discussed her ongoing divorce proceedings from her infamous 72-day marriage to NBA star Kris Humphries. When asked where the process stands ahead of her next court appearance on the matter on February 15, the star of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami. "I can't really speak for anyone else. It just is a process," Kim said.
On whether she has any wedding plans with West, whom she's been dating since April, Kim was non-committal. "It's something that we talk about but it's just, right now, focusing on the baby. "I'm just so content with how things are right now and how life is and we're so happy." She added: "We definitely want that in the future. I'm not in a rush."
