Amanda Seyfried Tells Letterman: 'I'm Drunk!'
Amanda Seyfried admitted to getting a little "liquid courage" before chatting with David Letterman on Tuesday's Late Show.
The Les Miserables star revealed that she gets stage fright and prior to chatting with Letterman, she had a few whiskey drinks backstage. "I'm pretty drunk. To be honest with you Dave, I've had about three," she confessed. "You know, big fan of whiskey. ... I had some Midleton. Russell Crowe gave me some Midleton for my birthday. ... And then your lovely colleagues had some Jameson waiting for me."
But this wouldn't be the first time Seyfried, 27, has shown up tipsy to a late show. "I have to go on record saying I've never done a live television show, afternoon, without some kind of liquid courage."

Letterman quipped, "You don't like to come out here alone, do you?" She responded, "I understand that I have a problem maybe, but you know what, it really gets me through, and I really wanna enjoy my experience out here."
The late-night host concluded the bit with the two doing a toast with glasses of Jameson.
