The Associated Press reports that the 50-year-old Grammy winning singer, a breast cancer survivor, told an audience about her condition at a recent concert, and the tumor is a meningioma, considered to be very common and typically benign. The growth develops from the protective linings of the brain and spinal cord.
Crow's representative, Christine Wolff, said that the singer, currently on a nationwide tour, is doing great and is healthy and happy.
