Betty White to be Roasted by Friars Club
Timeless comedian Betty White will be honored as she takes the "hot seat" this spring for the Friars Club's annual roast.
On May 16th, White will join the star-studded group that has been honored with a comedic twist by the Friars Club, including Lucille Ball, Johnny Carson, Barbra Streisand, Billy Crystal, and most recently Quentin Tarantino.

Although she played a sparkling clean "Rose Nylund" on The Golden Girls, White has become more lewd and focused primarily upon comedy in the most recent run of her over 70-year career.
"Those Friars may think I'm an easy mark but I have 90 years of comebacks waiting for them," White said. "This is such an honor to be roasted by the Friars Club. It will be an afternoon filled with dirty words, risqué jokes & sex talk.....and that's just what I plan on saying. I have no clue what the comedians will talk about."
