UPDATE:
After the controversial events of the day, Alec Baldwin is planning a fresh start as far as his Twitter life goes. The actor tweeted, "Let's play a game called Mass Unfollowing. I want to crash this acct and start again. But, tonight at 10 PM, NY time, unfollow me."

Alec Baldwin was escorted off a flight at Los Angeles International Airport today, according to the Los Angeles Times, and apparently it was all because of a word game. The 30 Rock star's tweets seem to tell the story…
"Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving. #nowonderamericaairisbankrupt"
"#theresalwaysunited"
"But, oddly, 30 Rock plays inflight on American. #theresalwaysunited"
"Now on the 3 o'clock American flight. The flight attendants already look.....smarter."
"#theresalwaysunited Last flight w American. Where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950's find jobs as flight attendants."
As all Twitter feuds seem to go these days, American Airlines responded to Baldwin's tweets on their own Twitter handle: "@AlecBaldwin Mr. Baldwin, we are looking into this. Please DM us contact information."
The L.A. Times says that the police were not involved in the incident, according to a law enforcement source.
