The singer is "smitten" with her new baby boy -- and so are we!
Who needs a “Pocketful of Sunshine” when you have a little one this cute?
Natasha Bedingfield took to Instagram to share how smitten she is with her new baby boy, who arrived on New Year’s Eve.
“This little one is so precious. I’m smitten. #baby #mama,” the 36-year-old singer captioned a heartwarming black-and-white snap of the newborn laying on her chest on Monday.
On Tuesday, Bedingfield shared another snap of the wee cutie, this time with husband, Matt Robinson, and their pet pooches.
“My boys ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ it makes me so happy to see my hubby this happy,” wrote Bedingfield, the younger sister of “Gotta Get Through This” singer Daniel Bedingfield. “He was an absolutely outstanding support during the labour. Totally blew me away with how encouraging he was during the all hardest parts.”
Robinson, a Californian businessman, and Bedingfield tied the knot in 2009 and revealed they were expecting their first child in October.
And it looks like the couple are loving being parents!
In May, Bedingfield opened up to ET about the challenges of her own childhood, which was spent between the U.K. and New Zealand, where her parents were born.
“My parents left New Zealand with my brother as a baby and they only had $200,” she shared. “They were Christian and wanted to help change the world, so they decided to come to London and got involved with a lot of inner-city stuff.”
“Our budget for food was like £30 a week [US$39], and we would go to Tesco and Sainsbury’s and get stuff as they were throwing it out, when it was discounted,” she added. “My mom was really good at stretching a penny.”
