The 67-year-old singer's tour will be rescheduled for the summer.
Lionel Richie will be hitting the road a little later than expected
The 67-year-old musician tells ET in a statement that he will be rescheduling his All the Hits tour after having some issues with his knee. “When you have been performing as long as I have it takes a toll on your body. Unfortunately my recovery from a knee procedure will not have me 100% ready to start the tour next month,” Richie says in a statement. “I don’t want to disappoint my fans and I look forward to being back on stage so we can all be ‘Dancing on the Ceiling’ together again.”

Meanwhile, a rep for Richie tells ET, "The tour will be postponed until the summer. New dates to be announced soon. All tickets for rescheduled dates will be honored."
This news comes just two days after Richie tweeted his excitement for the tour. "Can't believe we're less than a month away already till my new tour starts!" he wrote. "See you soon... #ALLTHEHITS2017"
The "Endless Love" singer announced in December that Mariah Carey would be his special guest on the 35-show tour, which was scheduled to kick off in Baltimore, Maryland, on March 15, and end in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on May 27.
Carey's rep confirmed to ET that she will still be part of the tour, despite the rescheduled dates.
