You've never seen Beyonce like this before. In a rare tell-all short film titled Yours and Mine released on the one-year anniversary of her self-titled visual album, the Grammy nominee confesses that her life isn't as perfect as it seems.
"When you're famous, no one looks at you as a human anymore," she says in the 11-minute short that was released Friday. "You become the property of the public. There's nothing real about it."

"You can't put your finger on who I am," Beyonce insists. "I can't put my finger on who I am."
The video begins with Beyonce sitting alone at a candle-lit dining room table (an image taken from her video "Jealous"), and, speaking over the footage, goes into the trials she faces being one of the world's most famous women. "I sometimes wish I could just be anonymous and walk down the street just like everybody else," she says. "Before I was famous, I was just the girl on the hill with the guitar. I was the girl who just wanted a beautiful view of the beach."
She continues, "And now that I'm famous, it's really, really difficult to do very simple things."

That being said, she then talks about her family's values and how her mother, Tina Knowles, taught her to "never be a victim."
"Never make excuses," Beyonce, 33, says. "Never expect anyone else to provide for me things that I know I can provide for myself."

She later goes into her own experience being a mother to Blue Ivy. "A woman has to provide so much for her children," Beyonce says. "I consider myself a humanist."
Sharing her views on marriage -- and helping put those Jay Z split rumors to rest -- she says over "Drunk In Love" footage, "People feel like they lose something when they get married, but it doesn't have to be that way. There's nothing more exciting about having a witness to your life."
The singer is calling this a "retrospective short film," which celebrates the anniversary of her surprise album by editing together outtakes from all of her 17 videos released on Dec. 12, 2013.
