Taylor Swift issued her stamp of approval to English singer-songwriter-producer Labrinth for his stripped-down cover of her "Shake It Off," sharing the video on her Facebook page and declaring herself "obsessed" with the "unreal" performance.
This video comes courtesy of BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge, which just a few short weeks ago gifted us with a life changing Sam Smith cover of "Fast Car."

Labrinth's performance comes as he is promoting his new single, "Let It Be," which will be featured on his sophomore studio album. Last year, Labrinth revealed that he had been collaborating in the studio with none other than Swift's pal Ed Sheeran.
The 25-year-old (birth name: Timothy McKenzie) is one of only a few artists to be signed to Simon Cowell's Syco record label without first competing on one of his reality shows. Labrinth's debut album, Electronic Earth, was released in 2012.

Labrinth is the latest star to put his spin on "Shake It Off." Meghan Trainor covered the song with her ukulele recently, while a group of fraternity brothers made headlines for lip syncing the pop anthem in this viral video.
