The singer says she did 'a lot of running' to get in shape for her music video.
Taylor Swift's new single "Shake It Off" has already hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and now we're getting a look behind-the-scenes look at her new video.
In a video posted to Taylor's YouTube page on Wednesday, the newly minted pop star reveals how she got in shape for the dance-centric video.

"I did a lot of running, which I hate," she says. "I've been running a lot so I can do this amount of cardio."
The grueling three-day shoot saw Taylor getting in the mix with cheerleaders, ballet dancers, break dancers and more. "These are the longest shoot days I've ever done," the singer confessed.
But even if you can't dance along, Taylor thinks her new song has a little something for everybody.

"A lot of people who I think will really relate to this song are dealing with not ever really feeling cool with themselves because other people make them feel like they don't fit in," she says. "One thing that I've learned in this whole process is you can get everything you ever want in life without ever feeling like you fit in.
"Selling millions of records doesn't make me feel cool," she continues. "It makes me feel proud and I have a lot of people on my side and I've worked really hard, but I don’t think it's the most important thing in life to fit in. I think the most important thing in life is to dance to the beat of your own drum and to look like you're having more fun than the people who look cool."
We still think you look pretty cool, Taylor.
What do you think of Taylor's new video? We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for a second outtakes video, coming soon!
