The 'Hips Don't Lie' singer talks about singing an original song for the 'Zootopia' soundtrack and her longtime love of Disney movies.
Shakira is stepping into the world of adorable anthropomorphic animals with her new role in Disney's Zootopia.
In ETonline's exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the exciting animated feature, the "Hips Don't Lie" singer opens up a bit about her "fun" character, Gazelle -- a mononymous pop star (who also happens to be a gazelle).

"She's charismatic but she's also very aware," the 38-year-old singer shared. "She's socially aware. She feels responsible for her people and she stands up for them when they need her."
Shakira also provides her musical talents on the film's soundtrack with the original song, "Try Everything."
"[It's] a song about being unafraid of your dreams and the size of your own dreams," Shakira said, "and being able to fight for them and follow them."

Shakira, who is the mother of two young boys -- Milan, 3, and Sasha, who turns 1 on Friday -- admitted that her love for Disney movies started long before she ever had kids.
"More than once I've found myself by myself on a couch watching Disney movies with a big jar of popcorn," Shakira said. "But I also think it's very cool now to brag to my son about my connection to Mickey Mouse."
