The Thor star will appear in the female-led reboot as the ladies' receptionist, according to Feig's tweet.

Hemsworth joins Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones for the gender-flipping comedy.
The role represents a departure for Hemsworth, who is better known for his action movies like Thor and Snow White and the Huntsman, but lately he has been going deep into comedy, co-starring in the Vacation reboot, which opens in July.

The film will mark McCarthy's fourth time working with Feig. Their latest outing, Spy, debuted at No. 1 at the U.S. box office.
The Ghostbusters reboot is due out next year.
