The critic becomes the critiqued. Around this time last year, Jon Stewart had grown a beard and was directing his first movie in the Middle East titled Rosewater. Now, he's ready to debut the first trailer.
Based on a true story the Daily Show had covered prior to making the movie, the drama follows a journalist, played by The Motorcycle Diaries star Gael García Bernal, who is detained in Iran for more than 100 days and brutally interrogated in prison.

Stewart's gripping tale will first be shown at this weekend's Telluride Film Festival ahead of its international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
