ET dug into our vault to return to the set of the franchise's first film and our first-ever interview with the star.
How's this to make you feel old? Harry Potter turns 34 today.
J.K. Rowling's famous character shares a July 31 birthday with his creator (Rowling is 48) and to celebrate, Entertainment Tonight dug into our vault for a wickedly adorable Harry Potter edition of Throwback Thursday.
ET returns to the set of The Sorcerer's Stone, the first film in the Harry Potter franchise, and to our very first sit-down with Daniel Radcliffe. The future star was only 11 years old at the time and gave us pretty much the cutest interview ever.
Watch the video above to see how he reacted to the first time he saw his name on the big screen. Wait for it... awww!
Radcliffe celebrated his 25th birthday earlier this month (July 23) and has quite a few projects coming down the pipeline. He plays a wrongfully accused boyfriend on the hunt for his girlfriend's killer in the thriller Horns, and a twenty-something looking for love opposite Girls' Adam Driver in the romantic comedy What If.
ET asked Radcliffe if he was prepared for fame back in 2001. Even then, the actor proved himself wise beyond his years.
"The best thing I can do is enjoy it," he said, "because there are so many worse things happening in the world. It's just stupid and quite selfish to just worry about being recognized."
