Rachel McAdams remembers being 'in awe' of Lindsay Lohan's talent on the set of Mean Girls.
Rachel McAdams sports minimal makeup and still looks gorgeous on the August 2014 cover of Allure magazine, in which the notoriously shy actress looks back on her many memorable films, including 2004's classic Mean Girls.
The endlessly quoted film recently celebrated its 10th anniversary in April, and McAdams, now 35, finds it hard to believe that her co-star Lindsay Lohan was reportedly intimidated by her, according to an interview with director Mark Waters.

"If anything, I was in awe of her talent. I looked at her as this experienced actor, and she had great comedic timing," McAdams says. "It's just funny to hear that because you never know what people are thinking. We all try to act like we've got it together."
As for another beloved film she's starred in, Allure asks her if she follows her Notebook co-star/ex-boyfriend Ryan Gosling’s hilarious "Hey Girl" meme, and her answer will probably disappoint plenty of the romantic film's hardcore fans.
"I know you're not going to believe me," she says, "but I don't follow it."
But perhaps most surprisingly in the new interview, McAdams calls her 2002 big-screen debut The Hot Chick -- in which she and Rob Schneider swap bodies -- as one of the most difficult challenges in her career.
"I just remember breathing deep and thinking, ‘Oh, my God, I have to go out there and do this striptease, as a man…as a woman. How did I get here?’" she says about filming one particularly daunting scene. "It was probably one of the scariest moments I've had in my career. It stretched me in ways I could never have imagined. ... Literally."
