Get the tissues out now, because the second trailer for Unbroken will take you on an emotional roller coaster.
Directed by Angelina Jolie, the biopic chronicles the life of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner who was taken prisoner by Japanese forces during World War II. Sadly, Zamperini passed away this past week. He was 97.

The relatively unknown actor Jack O'Connell portrays the war hero as an adult, and cries more than once in the passionate 2:30-minute trailer. Put to epic orchestral music, the film takes you through all the monumental, heart-wrenching moments in Zamperini's action-packed life.
In February of this year, Jolie and Zamperini sat down with the TODAY show to chat about Unbroken. "[I feel] such a huge responsibility to get it right, because I love [Zamperini] so much, and because he's helped me so much in my life," Jolie said of the passion project. "[The world] can seem hopeless and it can seem very overwhelming. But the resilience and the strength of the human spirit is an extraordinary thing."
Unbroken, based on the book Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand, hits theaters Christmas Day.
