Keira Knightley reveals what she really thinks of Adam Levine's acting chops.
Is this a compliment? Keira Knightley reveals what she really thinks of Adam Levine's acting chops.
Knightley and Levine star in Begin Again, a romcom about a dejected music business executive who forms a bond with a young singer-songwriter new to Manhattan. "He did play a d**khead very well," the 29-year-old actress tells Glamour magazine of her 35-year-old co-star's character Dave. "Actually, I admire him being so willing. To play a d**khead is quite a big thing when you are trying to break into film and you want to be likable."
Adding of the romantic comedy, which also stars Catherine Keener and Mark Ruffalo, "With a feel-good film you are always risking going way too cheesy. ...But maybe I can have a little holiday where I'm not playing a character who is being destroyed."
As for her real-life romance, her feelings about marriage may surprise you. "When James [Righton] proposed, I just thought, 'Well, never done that before.' It seemed like a fun thing to do."
Begin Again is in theaters now. Will you see Levine's acting debut?
