Arrested Development
star Jason Bateman has an all-new, dysfunctional family to endure in the new dramatic comedy This is Where I Leave You, and his brood includes heavy hitters Jane Fonda and Tina Fey! Watch the first trailer from the upcoming autumn comedy...

Based on the amusing, poignant best-selling novel by Jonathan Tropper, the film chronicles what happens after the patriarch of the family dies and four grown siblings are forced to return to their childhood home and live under the same roof together for a week, spending quality time with their over-sharing mother (played by Fonda) and an assortment of spouses, exes and might-have-beens.

"Is it the whole world, or just this family?" asks Bateman, nursing his wounds after cacthing his wife with another man. His sister Fey responds, "Starting over is complicated. And you don't do complicated, Judd. You never have."

With each grappling with or in a state of denial about their complicated history, the siblings begin to reconnect in hysterical and emotionally affecting ways amid the chaos, humor, heartache and redemption that only families can provide -- driving us insane even as they remind us of our truest, and often best, selves. Girls and Star Wars: Episode VII star Adam Driver, Timothy Olyphant, Dax Shepard, Connie Britton, Rose Byrne, Corey Stoll and Kathryn Hahn round out the cast.

Directed by Shawn Levy (Date Night, Night at the Museum), This is Where I Leave You hits theaters September 12, 2014.
