Stars React to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's Weekend Wedding!

The much-anticipated wedding of Kim Kardashian to Kanye West finally took place over the weekend in a star-studded ceremony in Florence, Italy. But before the nuptials took place, ET special correspondent Carly Steel was in France on the sidelines of the Cannes International Film Festival to get celeb comments about the big event!

One of the celebrities Carly caught up with at a major party in Cannes – last week's bash by jewelry company de Grisogono at the exclusive Hotel du Cap Eden Roc – was Sharon Stone, who walked the red carpet with the brand's founder and creative director, Fawaz Gruosi. Stone said she was thrilled to be a guest of Gruosi and has been a big fan of his jewelry, which she showcased for Carly.

The star also spoke about the Kimye wedding and wished the celebrity couple all the best. "We do wish them great happiness and many, many years of a wonderful family life, and hope that their marriage is a strong and good one," she said.

The Basic Instinct star wore a floor length red grown with a thigh split accompanied by jewels designed by Gruosi, who joked that the pair were an item: "We are in love. This is a joke," he said. Stone dispelled the illusion: "Let's just say he is in love with me and I'm thinking it over," she joked.

Guests at the party enjoyed a lavish meal, a fashion show, and a performance by Jason Derulo.

Carly also spoke with Sin City: A Dame to Kill For star Rosario Dawson, who said she knew someone who attended the Kimye wedding.

"I know someone who was invited to go and was told that he couldn't bring his cell phone at all... So I think it's kind of amazing. For a couple who has so much of their lives on-screen, and who got engaged on camera, and who has the whole reality TV part. It makes sense during a very special moment like this that you'd want to keep something private."

Also walking the carpet at the de Grisogono party was international socialite Paris Hilton, who also wished her longtime BFF Kim Kardashian all the best in her new married life.
