Based on Lois Lowry's beloved young adult novel, The Giver takes place in an ideal community of conformity and contentment. When Jonas (played by Brenton Thwaites) is given his life assignment as the Receiver of Memory, the dark, complex secrets behind his fragile community come to light and his world will never be the same.
