The Muppets are back and better than ever!
Like everyone else in the Muppets Most Wanted cast (and the Western world), Ricky Gervais has been a lifelong fan of Jim Henson's felted characters, but his favorite Muppet may surprise you.
"I met a new one, which you might not know about yet, called Constantine, who is now my favorite Muppet," Gervais told ET on the red carpet of the film's Hollywood premiere. "He's an evil, Russian frog and he's brilliant."
In the movie, Constantine -- the world's No. 1 criminal -- impersonates Kermit and sets the friendly amphibian in the middle of an international crime caper along with Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, The Great Gonzo, Animal, Scooter and the rest of the gang.
The movie also stars Ty Burrell and Tina Fey, who tried their hand at "very extreme accents."
"Ty's French in the movie and I'm mostly Russian," said Fey. "It's like doing an SNL sketch or something."
Muppets Most Wanted hits theaters March 21.
