WATCH: Nick's Post-Jonas Bros. Project
Nick Jonas has stepped away from his musical roots and broken into the acting game in his feature film debut Careful What You Wish For, and if this taut, sexy teaser is any indication, we might be in for some serious thrills.
The film follows a young man, played by Jonas, who starts up an affair with a gorgeous young trophy wife, played by Isabel Lucas.

However, things go from dangerous to deadly when Lucas's husband, played by Dermot Mulroney, ends up murdered.
The teaser is brief, and though it does little to show what to expect, it goes a long way towards making Nick Jonas fans longing to see more. With sparse dialog, fast editing and tense visuals, Careful What You Wish For could be one powerful debut for the 21-year-old, whose fame has mostly come from family-friendly content in the past.
The film is helmed by Elizabeth Allen, best known for kid's films Aquamarine and Ramona and Beezus, so it will be interesting to see her transition into steamier adult territory.
Careful What You Wish For is set to be released sometime in 2014.
