While Hollywood's tendency to like an idea so much they make it twice tends to lead to cinematic cannibalization of both projects (Olympus Has Fallen and White House Down being the latest example), Lindsay Lohan's trainwreck of a Elizabeth Taylor biopic only makes me more interested to see an actress -- potentially -- get it right. Enter Helena Bonham Carter's Burton and Taylor.

Produced overseas for BBC Four (and airing October 16 on BBC America), Burton and Taylor will focus on Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor's Broadway production of Noel Coward's Private Lives in 1983. As one can imagine, it was a behind the scenes nightmare despite making a ton of money.
