Joe Manganiello Strips Down & Snacks with ET
Hirsute hunk Joe Manganiello is with ET's Christina McLarty to talk stripping down for the upcoming movie Magic Mike as well as in the new season of True Blood, to pig out on his favorite foods -- and, most importantly, to demonstrate a few male stripper dance moves. "They wanted to get me, like, a bowtie and cufflinks, and I said, 'No, no, no, no. I'll do it, but you need to get me a fireman suit, and then you need to get me the axe,'" jokes Joe of his surprise appearance alongside Magic Mike co-stars Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey at last weekend's MTV Movie Awards. "I think we pulled it off."
In Magic Mike, in theaters June 29, Joe plays a stripper named Big Dick Richie in the Steven Soderbergh film that pulls back the curtain on the world of male strippers. As for the new season of True Blood, premiering this Sunday, the onscreen werewolf teases that there will be plenty of skin to appreciate. So, which project shows more of Joe?
"Well, in True Blood you've seen everything but one thing, let's say; everything but the sock," says Joe with a smirk. "Magic Mike goes a little further…"
