While Lovato has yet to publicly reply or comment, fans on Twitter went wild.
The two have had a rocky friendship since their days on the Disney Channel. In 2014, Lovato revealed why she cut ties with Cyrus. During a radio interview, a fan called in and asked about their relationship. Lovato replied saying that she and the "Wrecking Ball" singer were "acquaintances" and "people change."
"I don't have anything in common with her anymore. I wish her the best," she said at the time. A year later, when talking about her struggles with addiction, Lovato expressed that she was jealous of Cyrus' ability to party.
"There was a time when I was jealous of people who were able to party," Demi said in an interview with Cosmopolitan. "For instance, Miley -- in her music video 'Can't Stop,' her whole thing was partying and not giving a f**k. Part of me was super jealous that I couldn’t be like that. I had to look at my life and be like, 'Okay, that's just not what you can do. There's no need to be bitter about it.'"
The two now seemed to have rekindled their friendship. For more on Lovato watch the video below.
