Thomas Markle's daughter will marry Prince Harry at the royal wedding on May 19.
Someone is catching up on their British history.
Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle, was spotted reading a book titled Images of Britain: A Pictorial Journey Through History, while at a Starbucks in Rosarito Beach, Baja California, in Mexico, where he currently resides, earlier this week. The photo is quite comical in that his daughter will be marrying Britain's Prince Harry in less than two months.
The 73-year-old retired Emmy-winning lighting director has yet to meet Meghan's famous fiancé, but is expected to walk the Suits' star down the aisle when she officially becomes part of the royal family.
"Meghan asked her father to walk her down the aisle,” a source told ET back in December. "She does want him included and she wants to uphold tradition."
When Kensington Palace announced Meghan and Harry's engagement, her divorced parents, Thomas and Doria Radlan, issued a joint statement congratulating their daughter.
"We are incredibly happy for Meghan and Harry. Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person. To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents," the statement read. "We wish them a lifetime of happiness and are very excited for their future together."
Meanwhile, ET also learned on Wednesday that Meghan flew back to Los Angeles over Easter weekend to share details on her upcoming nuptials.
“She was in L.A. to visit her mother, share wedding plans and show her mom designs of her dress,” the source told ET, adding that Meghan continues to work closely with best pal Jessica Mulroney on the wedding details. Doria is also expected to make a trip to London very soon.
