The engaged couple will make their first official joint visit to Scotland on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
We've been wondering how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are planning to spend their first Valentine's Day as an engaged couple, and now we have a better idea!
Just one day before the romantic holiday, the lovebirds will visit Edinburgh, marking their first official joint visit to Scotland. They will be welcomed to the city by the Royal Marines Scotland Band at the Esplanade in front of the iconic Edinburgh Castle.
According to a statement released on Tuesday by Kensington Palace, Harry, 33, and Meghan, 36, will meet with members of the public and learn more about the organizations that work in the local community and nationwide. Throughout the day, they'll also celebrate youth achievement to mark the Scottish Year of Young People.
Although we're not sure whether the two will remain in Scotland or return home to London for Valentine's Day just yet, we do know that the holiday is a favorite for Meghan. Before she wiped all her social media accounts clean, the former Suits star gushed over the holiday in a brief post on her lifestyle website, The Tig, which has also been taken down.
"Hook, line and sinker, I am such a sucker for Valentine's Day," she once wrote. "Without fail, every February 14th, I wake up feeling like I'm immersed in a Robert Doisneau photo, waiting with bated breath to be dipped into a kiss. This is all happening in black and white, of course. And in Paris, if I had my way."
"But delusions of francophile grandeur aside, Valentine's Day is special wherever you happen to find yourself," she added. "And in terms of gifts, be it breakfast in bed, a sweet love note, or a single flower, it really is the thought that counts."
As we patiently wait to see how Harry will shower Meghan with love on Feb. 14, watch the video below to hear the latest updates regarding their royal spring wedding!
