The pop singer took "dem kids" to the happiest place on earth!
Mariah Carey celebrated her birthday in the happiest way possible -- by taking her 6-year-old twins to Disneyland!
The pop superstar turned 48 on Tuesday and enjoyed every minute at the theme park with her kiddos, Moroccan and Monroe, whom she co-parents with ex-husband Nick Cannon. Carey posted a couple of photos on social media from her fun day, which featured the "We Belong Together" singer wearing a black off-shoulder Wu-Tang Clan shirt and black leggings.
"Anniversary celebrations at the most festive place on earth!" said an Instagram photo showcasing the mother of two holding a huge bundle of balloons.
The entertainer also shared a snapshot of herself snuggling up to her children on a couch while surrounded by birthday gifts and even more colorful balloons.
Ahead of her birthday, Carey and Cannon, who split in 2014, walked the orange carpet together with their kids at the 2018 Kids' Choice Awards. A source told ET that the former couple are making their kids a "number one priority."
“They are both fully committed to being the best parents they can be to the twins,” the source said. “Family is Mariah and Nick's number one priority and they are such great, hands-on parents.”
The sourced added that the parents are “in a really good place together right now,” and have an amicable relationship.
“They call and text pretty frequently about the kids and it's always direct," the source noted. "They don't go through nannies or assistants. Their appearance at the Kids' Choice Awards is pretty emblematic of their relationship: putting the kids first.”
Carey is definitely in a good place these days, and happily dating dancer Bryan Tanaka. For more on the singer, watch below.
