The reality star admits to ET that it's still hard for her to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Khloe Kardashian admitted to ET's Keltie Knight that maintaining a healthy lifestyle is still a struggle at times for her.
On Sunday, in lead up to the season two premiere of Revenge Body, the pregnant reality star shared a photo on Instagram of herself from 2010 alongside a more recent selfie of her in a bikini, pre baby bump!
"Sometimes it's hard for me to post these transformation posts only because I can't imagine my life being this unhealthy again," she captioned the post in part. "Never would I ever consider myself fat, but I would consider myself unhealthy mentally/physically and not knowing my true value. Mind, body and soul. For me, my transformation journey started from within. I needed to heal myself from the inside out. Once I started putting myself first, everything started falling into place."
Khloe had similar words of wisdom to share with ET, while also confessing that she at first found the term "revenge body" a little "aggressive."
"For me I never thought of my body as revenge. I just did something for myself," she noted. "Everyone else was like, 'You have this revenge body.' So I played with it, I was like, 'OK, cool, let's run with that.' Now, it's still, I think the hardest thing is maintaining."
The 33-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star added, "For me, I think it's important to show people you can turn your life around. You can go through hell and high water but you can still come out and have a beautiful positive happy life."
As for Khloe's one piece of advice for someone looking to make a big change in their life, she shared, "I think we run away from the things we've done and we make those things shameful. ...Just own whatever it is, and as soon as you come face-to-face with whatever those things that shame you, I feel like [that's] then you finally move on and move over them."
Offering up even more guidance, the mom-to-be continued, "If you don't change yourself from the inside out, you're not going to change those habits that got you into the place that [made] you [become] that dark person."
Khloe is certainly grateful to have come out from the dark side. "I am even prouder of myself that I've been able to maintain a healthy lifestyle for so many years. I broke that cycle and I'm happier than I have ever been!" she concluded her recent Instagram post. "You can do this!! Start from within and nothing can stop you. Elevate yourself -- mind, body and soul."
