The pregnant royal made a public appearance in London on Tuesday.
There it is!
Kate Middleton is just three months away from her due date, and now the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge is finally starting to show.
The 36-year-old visited Roe Junior School in Brent, London, on Tuesday to launch her new Mentally Healthy Schools online resource. Stepping out in a cornflower blue Sportmax coat and matching dress with navy heels, Middleton was greeted by local schoolchildren.
The kids sang to her and handed her a bouquet of flowers, which she happily accepted, showing off her growing bump.
Later she gave a speech to the school’s staff about her new launch.
“What we have seen first-hand is that the simple act of having a conversation about mental health – that initial breaking of the silence – can make a real difference,” she said. “But, as you here today know: starting a conversation is just that – it’s a start.”
Noting that many rely on teachers to help nurture their students’ mental health, Middleton explained the new online resource, saying it “will transform schools’ access to high-quality information, and guide teachers and school leaders towards the best support out there.”
Middleton has been keeping busy throughout her pregnancy, making a series of public events. Next week she is joining her husband, Prince William, on the Royal Tour of Sweden and Norway.
