A source close to the fashion designer tells ET that "divorce is still the plan."
Georgina Chapman isn't letting the drama surrounding her personal life get in the way of her career.
After the 41-year-old designer's husband, Harvey Weinstein, was accused of sexual harassment and assault by numerous women over the summer, it was announced that she was planning to split from the former Hollywood movie mogul. Months later, Chapman hasn't changed her mind.
A source close to Weinstein's wife tells ET that her main concern is the couple's two children, 7-year-old daughter India and 4-year-old son Dashiell. "Georgina and Harvey have spoken briefly since the separation, but it is only about the children. That's the only thing she really wants to discuss with him at this point," says the source. "Divorce is still the plan and she has her team of lawyers in place. She is doing all right now and will be OK. She has a great support system around her and is moving on."
Meanwhile, Chapman is gearing up to make her return to New York Fashion Week to preview her brand, Marchesa's, latest collection. This will be the first runway show she's done since her 65-year-old husband's scandal.
The Marchesa runway show will take place on Feb. 14, which is the final day of NYFW.
After hearing of the allegations against her husband in October, Chapman announced that she would be leaving him. “My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband,” she said in a statement to People. “Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time.”
Earlier this week, Chapman's friend, Alyssa Milano, shared an update on Megyn Kelly Today about how Weinstein's estranged wife was doing. “Georgina is doing very well,” she said. “She’s an amazing mother. She’s an amazing woman, and I think her priority right now is focusing on how to raise those two children to the best of her capacity given the situation.”
After standing behind her friend, Rose McGowan -- who alleges that Weinstein raped her -- took to Twitter to slam her Charmed co-star's comments about Chapman. "You make me want to vomit. You actually gave me a body flashback. Well done, fake one," she wrote.
McGownan added, "Alyssa, maybe you and Georgina can call up Camille Cosby.”
As for the accusations against Weinstein, a spokesperson for the 65-year-old former movie producer has said that "any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr. Weinstein. Mr. Weinstein has further confirmed that there were never any acts of retaliation against any women for refusing his advances."
