The exclusive concert event was supported by Colgate and its Smile With Pride campaign, which helped celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and the importance of diversity and equal rights. "Supporting WorldPride is important because… the LGBTQ community alone is kind of the reason why I even have a career, so I owe everything to that community," Charli said onstage. "So to me, every month of the year is WorldPride, but June in particular is a real month of celebration."

HBO celebrated their Human by Orientation campaign with a concert featuring the "Ignore Me" singer in celebration of WorldPride NYC at The Brooklyn Mirage.

Last year's breakout stand-up comedian signed the "Power of Pride" jean jacket during the release party for Variety's inaugural issue of the same name, which is devoted to the recognition and celebration of the LGBTQ community worldwide. The soiree was thrown with the help of Mercedes-Benz and the issues' cover stars, Gadsby, Jim Parsons, Don Lemon and Billy Eichner, were all in attendance at the intimate gathering at Mr. Purple atop the Orchid Hotel in New York City. The signed coat will be auctioned off and proceeds will be donated to The Trevor Project.

Mother Monster returned home to New York City to perform a special invitation-only concert for SiriusXM subscribers and Pandora listeners at Harlem’s world famous Apollo Theater. The event celebrated the two brands coming together as one company but also marked the first time Gaga performed at the iconic venue. She also spoke briefly about Pride Month on stage, telling concertgoers, "I think Pride... should be 365 days of the year."

Swift surprised fans with a performance of "Shake It Off," one of Ferguson's favorite songs to sing karaoke to, during the actor's cabaret show at the famous Greenwhich Village bar.

The second single off Swift's upcoming seventh album, Lover, is a Pride-themed bop called "You Need to Calm Down," where she sings, "Why are you mad when you could be GLAAD? (You could be GLAAD) / Sunshine on the street at the parade / But you would rather be in the dark ages / Makin' that sign must've taken all night," Swift sings on the track. "You just need to take several seats and then try to restore the peace / And control your urges to scream about all the people you hate / 'Cause shade never made anybody less gay." After dropping the song, she shared details about the tune with Beats 1, explaining, "I’ve observed a lot of different people in our society who put so much energy and effort into negativity and it just made me feel like, 'You just need to just calm down. You're stressing yourself out. This seems to be more about you than what you're going off about.'"
Earlier in the month, the "ME!" songstress kicked off Pride Month by writing a powerful letter to her Tennessee senator in support of the Equality Act. "?HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!!? While we have so much to celebrate, we also have a great distance to go before everyone in this country is truly treated equally," she wrote in part in her lengthy post. "In excellent recent news, the House has passed the Equality Act, which would protect LGBTQ people from discrimination in their places of work, homes, schools, and other public accommodations." She also made a "very generous donation" to GLAAD in honor of Pride Month.
