The American Horror Story actress and Kate Hudson hit up the 2016 Met Gala in two very different designer looks by Versace – Gaga opted for the pantsless romper-rocker look, while Hudson went classic in a white cut-out gown. But,as you can see in the photo below, the "Born This Way" singer's impossibly high-heeled boots almost turned their two looks into one in the most dangerous way.

Thankfully, no impact ensued, despite Hudson's assurance earlier in the day that she was "Groomin and drankin'."
Of course, it makes sense these two would stay so in-sync, with all the time they've been spending together lately.

Hudson joined Gaga for her 30th birthday bash at the No Name restaurant in West Hollywood, California, last week, where the two enjoyed a night of partying with Taylor Swift, Lorde, Kate Hudson, Nick Jonas, Lana Del Rey, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, and more stars that lasted until 3:30 a.m. sources tell ET.
