Entertainment Tonight sources say that there is some truth to a New York Post report claiming that selfies will not be allowed at the Met Gala on Monday. According to the Post, Anna Wintour, Vogue and the Metropolitan Museum of Art are monitoring phone and photo usage at the exclusive event.

The Met Gala wouldn't be the first red-carpet soiree to reportedly ban selfies. According to Grazia, France's Cannes Film Festival will also restrict camera phones being used during the event.
